An experienced public speaker who enjoys motivating others to care for the natural world, Mads has shared her passion for the ocean at a number of events, both virtually and in-person, across the globe. Mads delivers scientific presentations, panel discussions, ocean seminars, marine conservation lectures and workshops.

Mads is a tropical marine biologist (MSc Hons), providing consultancy on marine science and conservation, scientific data collection, community outreach and science communication. Focus areas include anthropogenic stressors, tropical marine ecosystems and microplastic pollution.
